The city of Seattle, Washington, continues to expand its commitment to energy efficiency by entering the next phase of its large scale LED streetlight installation program. The city plans to purchase and install up to 10,000 new LED streetlights in 2011 and is in the process of qualifying fixtures which will be considered for the new installation.
