Lincoln, California, to use $171,000 EECBG grant for LED streetlights

Lincoln, California, plans to install about 235 energy efficient LED streetlights using federal funds.

The Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program award of $171,000 will fund the purchase and installation of approximately two hundred and thirty five new LED streetlights which will replace existing streetlight fixtures. The city will use LED roadway streetlights manufactured by BetaLED, a division of Ruud Lighting, of Racine, Wisconsin.
