Cottonwood Heights, Utah, issues RFP for LED streetlights


The city of Cottonwood Heights, Utah, seeks bidders for a LED streetlight installation project.

Using federal funds totaling $147,800, the city plans to install approximately twenty one new energy efficient LED streetlights in the Cottonwood Heights commercial district and arterial roadways. The planned construction includes LED streetlight fixtures as well as poles and electrical wiring. The city was awarded funds through the US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program, however engineer’s estimates value the project at between $226,500 and $277,500.
