The town of Mountain View, Wyoming, recently concluded an LED streetlight installation which replaced all of the towns existing fixtures with new energy efficient streetlights. The project was funded by a $127,000 award from the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. Total project costs were far below projected estimates, resulting in a partial return of the EECBG award. A total $49,490 was used for the 56 streetlight fixture installation.
