Lafayette, California, seeks bids for LED and induction streetlights
The city of Lafayette, California, seeks energy efficient lighting for its downtown business corridor. City officials are considering LED streetlights as well as induction streetlights for a deployment of decorative post-top fixtures. The city has issued two requests for proposals (RFPs) which solicit bids for the two different streetlight technologies. Funding for the project is through an award from the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program.
