Mill Creek, Washington, evaluates LED streetlights in pilot

The city of Mill Creek, Washington recently completed installation of a small number of LED streetlight fixtures which will allow the city to test and evaluate the performance of outdoor solid state lighting. Located in the Mill Creek Town Center, the eight decorative streetlights were manufactured by Philips Lumec. The pilot installation will be used to calculate energy consumption and test overall fixture performance. The LED streetlight fixtures replaced existing metal halide streetlights.
