Boerne, Texas, has installed eleven LED streetlights in the first step of evaluating energy efficient streetlight technology. The pilot installation is funded using city operating funds and is scheduled to be completed by mid-November 2010. The LED streetlight fixtures installed in the pilot are from local manufacturer, GreenStar.
