The city of Lacey, Washington, has initiated the process of testing and evaluating LED streetlight technology. The city has installed 44 LED streetlights manufactured by GE Lighting. The 200 watt equivalent fixtures are mounted at a height of 30 feet. The city of Lacey previously deployed a small test installation of GE LED streetlight fixtures on a shared use trail. The larger project was funded by a grant from the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board.
