Washington, D.C., is initiating a new phase of testing and evaluation of LED streetlights for future installations. This second phase of testing by the District Department of Transportation (DDOT) follows passage of legislation by the Council of the District of Columbia which calls for more extensive testing of LED fixtures in traditional and decorative pedestrian applications.
