Kingman, Arizona, to install 425 LED streetlights from Philips using EECBG funds

The city council of Kingman, Arizona, recently approved a proposal to install LED streetlights on a portion of the city’s commercial corridor. The project will be funded by an award from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. The federal award is $155,000, but project costs are estimated at approximately $255,000. The project was awarded to ESSCO Wholesale Electric which will supply approximately 425 LED streetlights manufactured by Philips.
