First phase of $275,000 EECBG LED streetlight project in Huntington Beach, California, includes decorative fixtures from Sternberg Lighting
The city of Huntington Beach, California is in the midst of a first phase installation of LED streetlights in the city’s downtown corridor. The project is funded by a $275,000 award from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program and will be implemented over two phases. The first phase includes the installation of approximately 50 LED acorn globe fixtures manufactured by Sternberg Lighting of Roselle, Illinois. The second phase of the energy efficient streetlight program will be initiated following the evaluation and analysis of the first installation.
