The city of Superior, Nebraska, has been awarded $317,800 in federal and local funds for the implementation of an LED streetlight project. The $250,000 federal portion of the award comes from the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. Local matching funds of $67,800 were provided from funds set aside for municipal projects.
