East Palo Alto, California, receives $180,214 for LED streetlights

The city of East Palo Alto, California is planning to replace 370 existing low pressure sodium (LPS) streetlights with LED streetlight fixtures using an $180,214 award from the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. The federally funded EECBG award is locally administered by the California Energy Commission (CEC).
