The city of Waynetown, Indiana, has been awarded $247,000 in federal funds, which will be used to replace existing streetlights and traffic signals with LED fixtures. The grant award is from the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program and is administered by the Indiana Office of Energy Development (IOED). Waynetown is awaiting final approval from the IOED in order to begin the project.
