The city of Loma Linda, California has been awarded $123,200 in federal stimulus funds for a citywide LED streetlight deployment project. The award is funded through the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. Loma Linda city officials plan on replacing nearly one third of the city’s high pressure sodium (HPS) streetlights with LED luminaires. Long term city goals include converting all Loma Linda streetlights to LED fixtures.
