Clayton, California, plans to install 95 LED streetlights as part of a pilot program to test and evaluate the energy efficient fixtures. The LED streetlight project will be funded by a $65,611 grant from the U.S. Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. The EECBG award is administered by the California Energy Commission.
