North Carolina State University solicits bids for LED area lights
The Centennial campus of the North Carolina State University (NCSU) is continuing its program to convert campus lighting to LED technology. In early July, the university, located in Raleigh, North Carolina, issued a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the purchase of LED area fixtures to be installed around the Engineering III building. The new LED fixtures will replace existing high intensity discharge (HID) area lights. This installation is funded by a grant from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
