Greenville, South Carolina, to test LED streetlights from Hubbell Lighting and GE
The city of Greenville, South Carolina, has launched the state’s first energy efficient LED streetlight program. Greenville, in cooperation with GE Lighting, Hubbell Lighting, and Duke Energy, has installed four different styles of pedestrian fixtures on one city block and is in the process of installing cobrahead style fixtures. The pedestrian fixtures were supplied by Hubbell Lighting of Greenville, South Carolina, and the cobrahead fixtures will be provided by GE Lighting, which is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, and operates a facility in Greenville, South Carolina.
