The city council of Pasadena, California, recently approved a project for the installation of new post-top LED streetlights on city streets. The project is part of an ongoing capital improvement project for the city of Pasadena and specifically targets neighborhoods with no existing mid-block lighting. Originally, the project was scheduled to begin in early 2011, however, the scope of work was revised to include additional neighborhoods and to increase the size of the installation. The fixture chosen for the installation is manufactured by LEDtronics of Torrance, California.
