Over an eight month period, the city of Walnut Creek, California, has installed one hundred eighty LED streetlight fixtures along Ignacio Valley Road, an arterial roadway. The success of the initiative has motivated city officials to consider additional LED streetlight installations throughout the city. The project was implemented in two phases.
