The town of Robersonville, North Carolina, plans to spend $215,111 to deploy LED streetlights. The project involves the replacement of approximately four hundred twenty existing mercury vapor and high pressure sodium (HPS) streetlights with LED streetlight fixtures. Funding of $147,250 comes from an award from the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECB) program. The city of Robersonville will use additional leveraged funds to supplement the EECBG award, resulting in total project funding of $215,111.
