The city of Riverbank, California, has received funding approval from the California Energy Commission (CEC) for the city’s first major installation of LED streetlights. The city requested $539,614 for the proposed installation of energy efficient LED streetlight fixtures, and $267,000 was granted by the CEC. The project is funded by a grant award from the US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program and locally administered by the CEC.
