The town of East Lyme, Connecticut, has received funding for the continuation of the town’s ongoing Main Street revitalization program. A $400,000 state grant was provided through the state of Connecticut’s Small Town Economic Assistance Program (STEAP). STEAP awards fund small community economic development and conservation projects throughout the state. In the initial phase of the revitalization, the city installed 54 new LED streetlight fixtures along the Main Street corridor.
