Hailey, Idaho, issues RFP for 69 energy efficient streetlight fixtures

The city of Hailey, Idaho, seeks bids for a project requiring 69 energy efficient streetlight fixtures.

Hailey received federal funding from the US Department of Environmental Protection (EPA) for projects focused on energy efficiency and renewable resources. The Haily Community Climate Challenge was organized to showcase how a small community can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and expand on existing initiatives to reduce energy consumption. The entire program was funded through a grant of $472,429, a portion of which has been designated for energy efficient streetlights. The project’s budget includes the purchase and installation of up to 70 new energy efficient streetlight fixtures.
