The city of Belmont, California, will launch a 200 LED streetlight replacement initiative using funds awarded by the Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. The award of $133,973 will enable the city to replace inefficient, high pressure sodium (HPS) streetlights and with energy efficient LED fixtures.
