Massachusetts towns plan to purchase and install 7,400 LED streetlights

The town of Arlington, Massachusetts, has issued a Request for Proposals (RFP) to evaluate prospective qualified companies to develop and implement energy efficient streetlighting systems for four municipal communities. These include the towns of Natick, Chelsea, Woburn, and Arlington, Massachusetts. The towns seek to qualify and select one company to perform a comprehensive audit of each town’s energy consumption and propose a comprehensive plan to reduce energy consumption through streetlighting improvements with an emphasis on LED streetlights.
