Greenfield, Indiana, installs 1,500 GE LED streetlight fixtures
Greenfield, Indiana, a municipality that is an Indiana Municipal Power Agency (IMPA) community, has purchased 1,500 new LED streetlight fixtures for its first major installation of energy efficient streetlighting. IMPA was awarded $5 million in funds from the US Department of Energy’s Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) program. The funding for LED streetlighting projects was distributed among the twenty IMPA member communities. The fixture chosen for the city of Greenfield installation is GE Lighting Solution’s Evolve LED streetlight.
